Join Us in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

October 19, 2023

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time when individuals and organisations across Australia come together to raise awareness about breast cancer and its impacts on individuals and families. At Clipboard, we are committed to supporting this cause, focusing on education, awareness, and fundraising to make a positive difference.

Why Breast Cancer Awareness Matters:

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Australian women, especially young women; in fact, our very own Head of Customer Success and Support, Jenny Eggimann was diagnosed with breast cancer last year at the young age of 36.

"Despite the immense physical and mental impact this diagnosis had on me, which to this day I still find challenging to put into words, I also felt incredibly grateful for all the support I received from friends and families, colleagues and even strangers. Early detection played a massive part in how my journey played out, and I cannot stress the importance of regular self-examination; everyone needs to understand what normal looks and feels like and not shy away from seeing a GP when in doubt."

By raising awareness, we aim to promote early detection, provide support to those affected, and contribute to ongoing research efforts.

Our Fundraising Event:

On the 18th of October, we hosted a special fundraising event at our head office in Sydney. As part of this, we ran a morning tea to show our support for this cause and raise funds from members of our own team and our wider coworking community. Breast cancer knows no boundaries, and its impact is felt by many. At Clipboard, we believe in a united and compassionate approach to raising awareness. Together, we can make strides in the fight against breast cancer and provide support to those in need.

Join us this National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and be a part of the change. Together, we can turn awareness into action.
